How do I select a good EP? Not looking for an ablation yet, just someone more versed in AF than my cardiologist. Do you find female EPs any better as far as listening, etc.?

  Female EPs are few and far between. When I went to UCSD's Arrhythmia Dept. they had 1 female EP and 14 men. Scripps didn't have any females nor did Sharp. I would start with HRSOnline.org. The Heart Rhythm Society is the highest credential an EP can get. Look for FHRS after their name = they have done the additional testing/certifications and peer recommendations.
