  Has anyone else had issues with some of their exterior brick crumbling? With the freezing/thawing, I've had some small chunks fall out of place on some of the exterior walls. I had Peter Strickland apply sealant when he painted my house, but there's still a problem. ...and with that, I need recommendations to have my chimney repaired where it meets the roof. I have some of the old brick and an extra roll of roofing material. Probably needs new flashing?

  Unfortunately, I don't know of anyone local does such work. I'm sure there are some reputable stucco contractors in Atlanta. Just don't let them talk you into the synthetic stucco stuff. It's bad news. Definitely go with a Portland cement based coating. My former employer did make Surface Bonding Cement. I've seen it for sale at some Home Depots.
