Why Hot Yoga? Hot Yoga is performed in a room that reaches temperatures of up to 95-105F, 46C. Heated yoga is a key element to living in the North due to the colder climate. The energy efficient Radiant heating panels will help radiate heat that will feel like the warmth of the sun. There are many health benefits associated with Hot Yoga. The increase in temperature loosens the muscles, helping you to deepen the poses, resulting in the following benefits: -promotes greater flexibility -minimizes muscle strain -minimizes the buildup of lactic acid -reduces the chance of injury -enhances detoxification Including the already astounding benefits of yoga: -builds upper and lower body strength -builds tremendous stamina and endurance -improves balance -increases flexibility -improves cardiovascular health -reduces stress, calming and balancing the nervous system -increases blood flow to the brain
How is the room heated? The heat in the room is controlled by radiant heating panels in the ceiling. The panels are infrared heaters that send invisible light waves, emitting heat. You cannot see the light with the naked eye. These radiant panels do not add dust, do not move the air and dust particles or pollen around, you can't smell them, making them safe for people with scent allergies, they do not contribute or take away from humidity and they do not pollute.
