Looking for recommendations for a foot doctor/podiatrist. We moved last year and I'm seeking someone convenient to New Brunswick. I figured this group was the place to ask!
Can anyone recommend a good podiatrist in the area for running injuries?
Shannon S. replied:
I, too, have been very disappointed with podiatry… I don't need one at the moment but I am interested in knowing who has a good reputation and is capable of dealing with athletes. Has anyone tried this guy? He seems runner focused, but my gut is telling me to not trust this guy… and I don't know why. Maybe it is because his website seems silly "Dr. Run"… LOL http://www.drrun.com/richard-t-braver-dpm-facfas.html
Looking for recommendations for an excellent podiatrist with experience treating runners.
Stefanie W. replied:
Dr. Braver at Active Foot and Ankle helped me out when I had plantar and achilles tendonitis, and encouraged me to keep running instead of telling me that was the problem. He has a few locations. http://www.drrun.com/
Any recommendations for a foot doc that understands running injuries? My wife is having issues with here heel and would like to get it checked out for some peace of mind.
Timothy L. replied:
Dr. Braver, he has 3 offices (Englewood, Fair Lawn, and Riverdale) www.drrun.com I had heel pain and plantar fascitis and he took care of it. He often writes for runners world.
