  ADVICE NEEDED for Special Mom & Special Friend #psnm00228 I have a friend that needs some advice. Her son is 4 and has autism. He has been having severe tantrums and meltdowns and mom has. OT been able to get much help. They are on a waiting list for Medicaid and grant funded ABA. Their current insurance does not let them have any therapy services. She is in Wichita and their current pediatrician will only refer them to a developmental pediatrician, but they have a waiting list until December. She has another small child and will soon have another. She is at her wits end. Does anyone have any suggestions of where they could go locally or get any help?
