Sudzy Paws is a full-service grooming facility for dogs and cats, offering services that include full trims, nail clipping and buffing, tooth brushing, spa packages, shed-less treatments, and much more.
Our facility is a clean, upscale pet grooming salon, where our stylists use only the best shampoos and equipment to keep your pet happy, safe, and, most of all, looking and smelling great.

Alex Sikich - Owner/Pet Stylist
Alex is originally from the Chicago-land area, but has been residing in Southern Illinois for 10 years. After graduating from SIUC with a degree in Business Marketing he decided he wanted to start a career working with animals. After a bit of soul searching he enrolled at the highly accredited Petropolis Academy Of Grooming in Chesterfield, Missouri. After graduating from the grooming academy in February of 2012 he was hired to work in the Doggie Daycare deparment at Petropolis. It was during this time period that he gained valuble knowledge of the pet business and grew entrepreneurial spirit. Observing how much everyone involved enjoyed the vast pet services offered by Petropolis inspired him to someday build his own pet business. After returning to Southern Illinois Alex gained grooming experience at Petco before deciding to venture into greener pastures. Sudzy Paws was born!

Candace Rickert- Head Pet Stylist Candace is as big of an animal lover as your... show more going to find. Hailing from St. Louis, Candace found her niche in grooming after leaving the childcare field to work with much furrier children :) . Candace attended the highly accredited Petropolis Academy of Grooming in 2006 and after graduation was hired as a Petropolis pet stylist on the spot! Candace continued to groom at Petropolis for the next 6 years delighting every one of her St. Louis clients including the one and only Albert Pujols! (formerly of the World Champion St. Louis Cardinals) Candace also got great experience working the kennel side of the business at Petropolis. During this time she spent many personal hours with rescue dogs going above and beyond to make their day a little brighter. Whether it's grooming dogs to professional show standards or making even the stinkiest dogs smell wonderful, Candace does it all and does it well! One of the top groomers from St. Louis is dropping her style right here in Southern Illinois!
