A couple questions for any local knowledgeable fire arm enthusiasts. I have my dad's old .22 rifle. It has iron sights that are not sighted in well at all, and it is fed from a 10 shot magazine that jams about 10%-20% of the time. Question 1, Is there a gunsmith or other similar place I could take it to diagnose/repair the jam situation and sight it in (or install a scope). I've never sighted in a rifle before, so would need help doing it or someone to do it for me.
I also have a Savage double barrel .410 shotgun that was given to me by a relative. I don't hunt, or have access to any land to shoot it on, so I've only ever shot slugs out of it at an outdoor range. Question 2, Are there any ranges in the area that would allow me to shoot defender rounds (or anything other than slugs) at a paper target? I'm thinking like a 25 yard or closer target normally reserved for hand guns.
