Where is the best place to get lasik or other corrective eye surgeries? I'm sick of wearing glasses/contacts, and want to get surgery to correct my vision. Anywhere you guys can recommend?

Did PCLI about 12 years ago. http://www.pcli.com/ My optometrist, in the follow ups, said if he didn't know I was going in, he never would have known the procedure was done - could barely see any scarring. Was spendier than other places, but as most people who get this surgery say, don't go cheap.
My wife is considering Lasik eye surgery but we don't know where to go. Any recommendations for us?

I have heard great things about Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute! Www.pcli.com I think. Alex Gardner got hers done there and I was going to, too, but my vision hasnt stabilized enough yet :( they are really transparent with their statistics and I like their approach on the various methods. Plus, you get complimentary LASIK for life after your first one! I see it as an upfront investment :)
alright ... looking for recommendations for Lasik surgeons and how much should I budge for it?

I had mine done about 10 years ago. The cost was about $2500 (total - not per eye). Scary as all get-out, but one of the best decisions I ever made! http://www.pcli.com/
Question? If you have had LASIK eye surgery.. Where and who would recommend? Dr. that is Seattle and North

Hi Darlene....we did a lot of research before both of us had our eyes done...Pacific Cateract and Laser (pcli.com) is worth looking at. We chose it because it does a ton of research and does not try to "upsell" you like most other places. My husband is a physician in the area and the doc has a very good reputation. On a personal note, doc will pray before the surgery with you if you don't mind. My $.02.... We also liked that we could choose our own eye doc to do follow up appts. It was more convenient to see someone in our own neighborhood.... Also it's recommended to have the blade used versus laser....heals better.
