About us
Garden of Dreams Weddings and Events is located just outside of Amarillo city limits, South of I-40, off of Hope Road. Garden of Dreams was established in 2011 with a goal in mind by owners Rick and Shelly Blandford: Beauty and Elegance.
As you enter into the 8 foot block surrounded gardens, you will step onto the flagstone covered patio with outdoor kitchen area. Just a few steps more is a stamped concrete patio, sometimes used for an outdoor dance floor, elegantly surrounded by lights and greenery. This is a wonderful area to sit back and take in the landscaped gardens and listen to the soothing waterfall, or if needed, warm yourself at the oversized, Austin Stone fireplace.
As you follow the sidewalk toward the reception hall you will pass by the beautiful pergola where several weddings have taken place. You will then approach the third patio and enter through an 11 foot glass ached doorway into Garden of Dream's 40x70 reception hall. Upon entering your eyes will be taken to a 16 light chandelier that adds elegance to the room.
The reception hall consists of a large kitchen area supplied with some serving utensils, drink dispensers, and chaffing dishes. We also have several centerpieces, seventeen 72 inch round tables, and 170 chairs for your use. Anything that Garden of Dreams has is yours to use free of charge to help make your event more perfect. Set up and Clean up is included.
Located separately from your wedding guests is a newly designed bridal room for the bride to spend special time with her bridal party. This room has two vanities with oversized mirrors and significant lighting, perfect for doing hair and makeup. Robes and steamer are provided if needed.
