  I'm on the Oregon Health Plan. Where can I actually get a dental exam and cleaning? I have OHP. My dental coverage is through Moda. The Moda website lists dentists that take my insurance, but it's inaccurate. Calling Moda is also unhelpful (e.g. they tell me to go to OHSU, but OHSU doesn't do dental cleanings). I've contacted several dental offices and they either don't take OHP or don't return my calls/messages. I've read that Dental Care Today actually takes OHP, but they have pretty bad reviews on Yelp, and also have not returned my calls. Feeling pretty frustrated... It shouldn't be this hard to get my teeth cleaned. Can anyone on OHP recommend a good dentist?

  It’s possible that you’re capitated to OHSU in which case you won’t have coverage anywhere else. OHSU does do cleanings, they have general practice dentists. What do they say when you try to make an appointment? 503-494-8867

  In Portland at the Dental School for OSHU Urgent Care: The urgent care clinic provides services for patients who are not comprehensive or specialty care patients but require urgent care. Fees at the OHSU Dental School Urgent Care clinic can be up to $250 depending on treatment needed. Fees are due at time of service. If this is an option for you, the number is 503 494-8867 There are a limited number of appointments available Monday through Friday. Care is provided by dental students under the supervision of faculty dentists.

  I take Logan to Portland dentist. It is further away but they are worth the drive and time. Doernbecher's school of Dentistry...(503) 494-8867 hope you find one that works well :)
