I'm Erik! You can all thank my father for letting me get this far. First and foremost, my life consists of art, cleaning the house and sometimes I act as a photographer. However, above all, being a photographer is the most rewarding experience that I can reach, but never plateau.
I grew up in Rockford, IL and after my "young" years I graduated from Northern Illinois University with my Bachelors in Fine Art Photography in 2012. I quickly grew up knowing that photography would be my passion in life and immediately honed my skills as a photojournalist having worked for "The Northern Star", "Rockford Register Star", "The Daily Chronicle", "Sun-Times Media" etc. However, after an extremely lucky break I decided to dedicate my life to becoming a wedding photographer. My blend of photojournalism, fine-art, portraiture and modernism skills meld together to help create and capture the perfect story for any and every couple I come across.
Having been a professional since 2009, making new friendships, making countless networking partners and photographing so many couples, I have learned how to document the beauty and everyday life and I can relish the beauty of everything I see. My life is to document and that's what I do best, and well, share some laughs.
