Housing market at $300k and above My wife and I are looking to move back to GR after a decade out of state. We are going to be searching for realtors in the next month, but we want an idea of what's happening. We know the market is very hot and competitive. Schools are a top priority, so that will drive our neighborhood selection.
At $300-350k, what kind of market can we expect? Are decent houses at this price point foregoing inspections, not allowing contingencies, etc? Based on previous /r/grandrapids discussion, this is happening at the $250k and below mark.
Doing this from out of state is tricky, so we want to get an honest realtor, who knows and fairly represents the housing situation in GR.
Sorry for another home buying post, I did try and do my reddit research.
