About us
I'm a California girl that now resides in Atlanta. I found my love for all things beauty/makeup related back in 2002 when I started working at Macys Prescriptives makeup counter to fill a spot for my best friend mom. When I started I knew nothing about makeup nor did I wear it! I had just graduated from cosmetology school. I knew everything about hair,but makeup... Not so much. I took the job anyway because my friend mother had faith in me and I didn't want to let her down. I went out and bought makeup books and a lot of pointers from my friend who was a makeup artist for MAC. I then fell in love with makeup. I started off part-time and then worked my way up to counter manager for Prescriptives until they closed the counter in 2005. I then begin working as a freelance makeup artist. It's crazy how I went from being the girl who didn't know anything about makeup to where I am now doing weddings, films, special fx and photo shoots. I have turned once a favor for a friend into my dream job, working as a freelance Makeup Artist.
