Aqua Marine Enterprises, Inc., dba Safe-T-Shelter, is a leading manufacturer and installer of Safe-T-Shelter safe rooms and storm shelters. Our FEMA-compliant, pre-fabricated shelters made of quarter inch steel are EF5 rated for up to 255 mph winds, ADA handicap accessible, tested and approved by Texas Tech Wind Research Institute and carry a limited lifetime warranty. Safe-T-Shelters are built in-house in our massive manufacturing facility. Kasi R. replied:We have an above ground one in our garage. After we were running for a gross, old, underground one when the 2008 ones crossed our road and then had Connor, we knew we had to get something more convenient. We love it, and wouldn't have anything different. My husband is choosy about stuff like that and is also a first responder. He did lots of research before we bought one. He narrowed it down to a couple of different ones. We went and actually got in a few, and we picked the one we felt was the safest and best fit for us. Bradley has ours all fixed up with indoor/outdoor carpet, shelves, plug bar (for if we still have power), antenna, small tv, etc. I keep it stocked up with extra toys, clothes for the kids, bottled water, formula, wipes, diapers, blankets, small battery operated fans, etc. I love it because we can all just run out there barefoot if we need to; we can leave it stocked up without worrying about any critters getting into it; it is comfy and convenient; and it is super safe. Connor, our five year old, actually likes getting in it. We got ours from a place place Danville safe-t-shelter.com When we got ours, they were very neat when they installed it too. Our garage was actually cleaner when they left than it was when they got here.
