About us
Ozarka is #NoSupp, which means No Single Use Plastic Packaging. We are a low waste foods and personal products store opening in Spring of 2018 in Amsterdam.
Ozarka is going to offer beautiful edibles that will not be packaged or wrapped in plastic. Best of all, we will offer the same level of convenience you are used to at a typical grocery store, while at the same time creating a superior relationship to your groceries.
If you don’t love shopping this way, Ozarka will die on the vine.
But we intend to flourish and grow. In order to do so, we’re looking for the right suppliers who want to create this customer experience with us. Not everyone will say yes to low waste, but those who do, we’re looking for you.
We are looking for:
- Fruit and vegetable producers
- Local cheese makers
- Local beter-leven dairy
- Caterers and gourmet food truck vendors
- High end personal product makers looking to prototype a refills model: soaps, shampoos, conditioners (think Kiehls, Body Shop, Kevin Murphy)
- Bio-based, single-use packaging manufacturers
- Compostable packaging manufacturers
- Industrial composting facilities
