Currently live and work in Sacramento but need to find a new position in Cleveland. Anyone have any good recommendations for a good engineering company to work for in Cleveland? I have a BS in Chemical Engineering from Berkeley and have worked for the last 5 years as a Chemical System Engineer and a Process Engineer. I've gone the typical Monster/CareerBuilder/etc routes as well but figured trying this on Reddit couldn't hurt.

  Seconding Lubrizol (biased, as I work there). If you think you'd fit any of our openings (www.lubrizol.com) PM me. We do specialty chemicals, ranging from fuel additives to personal care. Near here, we have facilities in Wickliffe, Brecksville, and Avon Lake. Sherwin Williams is also in town. They're a fairly large employer, based downtown and a few other places IIRC. PolyOne is a plastics company that I think has some openings.

  University of Akron? Bout an hour to the south and one of the best chem eng schools around and im pretty sure also a top research facility. Case Western Reserve University. Great school and really close to the clinic. Company called Lubrizol. Chem company. Lincoln electric maybe. Not sure if they do anything in Chem. Goodyear. Also in Akron.
