  I have been trying to answer this question for a few years up here at the church. If you want to hear/compare a few different solution we have come up with let me know. One of my favorite new finds is this. http://www.powerwerks.com/page/PW100T-24.aspx You can daisy chain several together. They are really small. They sound pretty good for their size and they are really cheap. You can also add other powered speakers into the mix. I have one of these with running into 2 Mackie sm450's and it sound amazing.
