  Not in Islington but I use Imperial College in South Kensington. http://imperialcollegedental.co.uk They did a cleaning and x-ray in the price of a normal check up (£19-20) and I could get an evening appointment fairly easily. I haven't needed any follow-up treatment but my friend had a root canal there that went smoothly and someone else was referred for wisdom tooth surgery quite quickly after the check up.
