Westbank is a multi-purpose arts and culture space in a fantastic venue in the heart London’s Portobello market in Notting hill.
Westbank was founded in 2010 as a contemporary art gallery in a disused 19th century bank. The gallery has grown and adapted to its permanent location off Portobello road, purposed as a fully-fledged 21st century culture space
Westbank is unusual in that the vast majority of the artists' works on exhibit are produced by living artists. As a result the working process is oriented towards exhibiting not only the artworks but the practice and method behind the production of the artworks and the context of the artists within contemporary culture.
Westbank hosts regular showcase events and private views, offering a fresh and informal take on what an art show can be.
Can anyone help I am looking for a local venue for all of may to house our weekly dance. It's on a wed night and needs to have capacity of 50 people and allow loud music. Everywhere booked up.... all suggestions gratefully received xxx
