Many times they have health problems because such small dogs are bred. Please look for a breeder who health tests all of their breeding dogs prior to breeding and make sure you're welcome to visit so you can meet the parents of the puppies. Be wary of anyone breeding more than one breed of dogs and you can be sure any dogs from pet stores are from puppy mills, so are many that will ship you a puppy without even meeting you.
