Looking for someone who does hair cuts for children with autism. My son has trouble holding still and I can't cut it properly myself. I mess it up every time.

Little snips. It's well worth the drive. They cater to children of all types. http://www.littlesnips.com/

Do NOT GO TO LITTLE SNIPS. My son also has Autism and the girl we had was so rude. She asked us not to bring him back because he was a "hazard". He moves a lot! I asked not to use the clippers and she refused to use just scissors on him because it would take even longer. We go to Sports Clips in McMurray they are very patient and give him as many breaks as he needs. I also heard a new place in Bridgeville.opened it's called Maestro they are supposed to be PHENOMENAL
Mom Crystal is looking for suggestions.... "I need a kid friendly hair cuttery to take my 3 yr old son. Is Little Snips the only one in the Pittsburgh area? I live in Mckeesport but am willing to travel. Thanks in adavance."

We haven't tried it yet, but I have friends that swear by Little Snips. http://littlesnips.com/#2784

I've taken my 15 month old to little snips twice and have gotten a decent haircut despite his best efforts to thwart the process. Highly recommended
Mary C. replied:
We love Little Snips. My son hates haircuts. It would take 2 adults to hold him still. They have always been amazing with him. We drive 40 minutes for a 10 minute haircut. Totally worth it! When you schedule request one of the cars.

We go to Little Snips, and they are awesome with little ones! It's not far for me though.
Sara W. replied:
I use my hair dresser... but I know lots that go to little snips
Crystal M. replied:
I guess Little Snips is the place to go. We normally go to Great Clips in White Oak, but only 1 person will take him. He is very afraid of hair cuts, so he gets very worked up just walking to the chair to the point of almost throwing up.
