  Wendy: I wouldn't consider Comcast either - my sister tried them and it was not a happy experience for either internet or phone...am interested in hearing about the two others: Sonic Fusion or Monkey Brains. Don't want to change unless I can be sure of reliability as I work from home.

  I use monkeybrains.net. An sf local ISP although they do need a microwave dish on your roof which is expensive. Check with your building manager or MB themselves. Speeds are amazing and WAY cheaper and robust than AT&T

  If you live in their service area, [monkeybrains.net](http://monkeybrains.net/wireless.html) are the shit. They set an antennae up on your roof and beam the webz at you. Incredibly fast internet from these punk dudes who are on to something big. Oh and its cheaper than whatever you are paying now.
