Does anyone know where I can find good pictures to do portrait studies, because the photos I find in the pinterest, most are edited too much to study.
Thanks!
Hobby photographer here, looking for suggestions for building a photo website. My final goal is to have a neat and professionally looking website, where people can look at, read about, and maybe purchase my photos. I don't know anything about coding so I thought about the basic WordPress approach, and maybe buying a nice theme.
Anyone out there with their own photography website, or if you know some nice reference sites, please share.
Happy shooting my friends

WordPress would be the most flexible but require the most work, I think. [RoyalSlider](http://dimsemenov.com/plugins/royal-slider/) is an image gallery plugin which was recommended at WordCamp Montreal. Several standard photo sites can be configured to use your own domain, for example [500 px.com](https://support.500 px.com/hc/en-us/articles/204700647-How-do-I-use-a-custom-domain-for-my-500 px-Portfolio-) and [smugmug.com](http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93340-how-do-i-use-my-custom-domain-). Exposure is a more story-oriented approach: https://exposure.co/
I am looking for a videographer who can film a high quality video and capture sound in a kitchen next Wednesday April 5th in the morning in Toronto. Shoot is very casual and would require only 1 person shooting. Anyone interested or any recommendations please let me know!

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good 'free' or 'low cost' web platform that looks professional?
Jillian S. replied:
500 px.com has a paid plan that offers custom domain support and a personalized portfolio as your profile. I've seen some that look pretty sharp, it's on sale for 56/year right now https://500 px.com/upgrade
Looking for some advice. I would like to build a web page to display and sell my photos. Does anyone have any recommendations on a web hosting company or any other choices for accomplishing this?
Carl S. replied:
500 px.com is a site for licensing your images out, not for selling them to the general public, much like Shutterstock or iStock. The difference is, 500 px.com doesn't require you to submit the images ahead of time to be cleared for use on the site.
Help needed from Content Writers/Bloggers in our Group
I am starting my blog/website & would be using Images for obvious reasons.
1. can anyone tell me some of the good resources that you know of for getting Royalty/license free images.
Google advance image search doesn't help that much
2. has anybody use the embed feature of Getty Images ? is it of any use ?
does it affect the SEO of your websites ?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Looking for some advice please. Is there any photographers or anyone starting out that could tell me where is the best place start or where to go to get advice to get in to it? Many thanks in advance.

HELP: I'M TRYING TO SELL MY ART ON THE INTERNER NET. CAN ANYONE OUT THERE SUGGEST THE BEST PLACE FOR ME TO DO THIS?
I'VE HEARD OF A FEW: AMAZON, ETSY, ARTSPACE. CAN ANYONE OFFER ANY MORE SUGGESTIONS?
Jack A. replied:
Ron, also try 500 px.com, photoshelter, smugmug. 500 px is more like a photo sharing site in the same vein as flickr, but you can sell on there. I'm on Shutterstock and you can make some $ on there, but keywording your images properly is key - PLUS you take photos of a lot of people, so you have to have model releases uploaded. I love your photography, but I don't think it lends to stock photography. Although I must say you might fare well with stocksy.com, they're a different kind of stock website. I live in throgs neck and I'm constantly in city island, so if you ever want to meet up over some cofee and talk, just let me know.
