About us
Posh Events is an Event & Wedding Planning Company based in Durban, KZN. We service corporate, bridal and private client's on all eventing requirements.
We pride ourselves in attention to detail, quality products and client centric attitudes. Functions we specialise in are:
- Product Launches
- Weddings
- Big birthday celebrations (21st/30th/50th)
- Gala Dinners
- Cocktail Evenings
- Staff & Year End Functions
We conceptualize, plan, set up, on-site coordinate and breakdown.

Meet the Posh Girls:
Natasha Rencken, Owner of Posh Events, has been in the industry since she matriculated from school.
In a nutshell: She was born and raised in a small town on a beautiful farm in Wartburg.
Schooled at St Johns DSG (in Pietermaritzburg) and moved to the “BIG CITY” (Pretoria) to study. She studied towards a BA in corporate communication and then changed directions to attend the SA School of weddings in Pretoria.
Whilst in Pretoria, Natasha gained experience through working as an assistant for a well-known wedding venue as well as for a passionate event planner. She fell in love with the industry and in no time knew that she was in the right career path.
She moved back to KZN to pursue her dream and to gain experience in a Hotel, as well as a décor and events hiring company.
Natasha: “I do not believe that something cannot be done. Nor can a client ever have a dream too big. Help them create their vision. Always go the extra mile.”
Mia Booysen, Manager of Posh Events, has been involved in various fields within the industry since she matriculated from school.
In a nutshell: She was raised in Newcastle, Northern KZN. Schooled at Newcastle High School, she gained her first glimpse into the international event world during her travels to the UAE, Qatar and Europe as part of the KZN Prestige Band.
She moved to Durban shortly after matriculating to complete diplomas in both Event Management and Business Management through Damelin College.
Having... show more lived in various parts of South Africa, she has experienced many different “event cultures”. She kicked off her events career as an Audio-Visual equipment specialist and today pursues her love of the events industry as a full-time event and wedding planner for Posh Events.
