After just having moved to the Naples area last winter, I received a recommendation for Rochelle when asking neighbors where I could find a photographer to take family photos including our daughter's 6 month photos. What are the good things I can say about our experience with Rochelle? Her response time is quick. That's it. Upon arriving to her "studio," she met us with attitude and indifference, as if she was doing us a huge favor instead of providing a service that we paid good money for. She was anything but warm and welcoming. She came across as hurried from the get-go, and then was particularly annoyed that our 6 month old was fussy due to some mild teething -- with a disgusted expression on her face, she suggested we could come back when the baby wasn't teething. When is a 6 month old NOT teething?? Sure she was a little fussy, but it was nothing we couldn't work around. So of course all of this set the tone for a VERY uncomfortable session. WHICH OF COURSE came through in the photos. Some "professional" photographer she is! Come in, let me treat you poorly, and now smile for the camera! It was beyond uncomfortable! I should have trusted my gut and got up then and there, demanded a refund, and left. Instead, to not make a scene, I stayed and suffered through an incredibly uncomfortable situation... as she got noticeably more perturbed anytime our daughter would fuss a little. And so how did our precious (and expensive) family photos turn out?? Horrible, of course! There isn't one that's worth printing. She never once suggested a position or posture correction during the shoot, which is evident in every photo and were simple suggestions that could have saved at least a few photos. Instead, I have a dozen or so images that I plan to never do anything with. The images I do have are nothing she deserves to call herself a professional for. The difference between her pre-edited images and the edited images are laughable: noticeable editing and effects that could be accomplished by an elementary student with the same software. A complete waste of $500 and a complete waste of 30-40 minutes of my life... NOT TO MENTION a lost opportunity for keepsake photos of my precious 6 month old that i will NEVER GET BACK. It's because of this I write this review, which I never ever do. Almost a year later, and I'm still disgusted and angry. And trust me, she didn't come across like a normally-decent person who was just having an off day. She came across like a crappy person and the only thing that seemed to bother her about the way she was coming across was that I wasn't accepting it. She's just not a decent person, and her photography skills are not even subpar let alone worth over $500! Save your money and time and go elsewhere.
