We have been to the groups at Fairfax and Children's, and they have both "fired" us because of the pain medications my daughter is on (she sees a pediatric pain specialist who manages them, they just don't agree with it). We need a new GI to see to manage her reflux meds and tube care.

  I had many of my surgeries at what was then Alfred I DuPont in Wilmington De. as a child. it is now Nemours Health System http://www.nemours.org/ Several of my surgeries are in their textbooks.

  From a momma: We currently live in CT. But my husband has been offered a position in Orlando, Florida. The thought of moving scares me, because of switching doctors for my 2yr old super tubie! Does anyone have any suggestions for a for pediatricin, allergist, immunologist and GI doctor suggestions in Orlando, FL. Also, which Children's Hopital is better for feeding tubes. My son has immune system dis function. He also has no safe food, severe IgE/Ana reactions to several foods as well as FPIES.

  Nemours Children's Clinics (in both Orlando and Jacksonville) have Ped GIs and other specialties available. There are also 2 or 3 very good children's hospitals in Orlando: Nemours Children's Hospital Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital www.nemours.org Hope this helps!

  Julie Powers my nurse pals there gave me these responses a while back for someone else: 1. "Any of the GI guys@duPont are good. XXX sees Dr. Delresario." 2. "I would recommend either Dr. Fernando delRosario or Dr. Karoly Horvath. Both have offices at duPont and there is more information about them on the nemours.org website. I know both personally and both are excellent pediatric gastroenterologists." Hope that helps!

  How far off 202 are you?? Dr Jones at Dupont is great!! 3026514000 is the main number. Ask for Dev Medicine. Laura is her nurse. She is her nurse and is very helpful. Last time I ckd the wait was 8-9 months. We did see a DR at Einstein Hosp almost immediately a couple of yrs ago but I cannot remember her name off the top of my head. She went to med school w/ dr jones. Einstien was just too far for me though!! You'd have to look that one up. It was on olde york rd, north philly--out of the city area though, and nice prking!! Good luck
