Hi neighbors. I'm in need of a vet for my 13 year old Maltese mix. She has this very bad rash on her stomach and I've taken her to Value Vet twice and they've given her shots and medication and doesn't go away or get better. I want to take her somewhere else. Any recommendations?

when my mom got her dog from a rescue he had some sort of weird scabby thing going on-- started on top of his head and started spreading out-- we took him to her local vet several times, tried several treatments, etc and finally went in for a consult with Dr. Angus-- his main place is in Padadena but does occasional visits locally-- it was well worth the drive to Pasadena-- he diagnosed and treated him on the spot, that was almost 3 years ago and have not had to go back again-- here's the info for their website: https://www.animaldermatology.com/home

Does anyone know of a good veterinarian that also specializes in dermatology around this area. My dog has a skin rash and I've taken him numerous times to the veterinarians around town and it's not going away. Thank You.

As the others have said, you are best to go straight to the experts and get to the root issue. Any of the docs at ADC are great. http://www.animaldermatology.com/home
If anyone knows of a Dermatologist around Lexington that sees dogs please let me know. Mommy is miserable that Prudence is so miserable. These skin allergies are out of control:(

That really stinks Kim. It's frustrating. I googled animal dermatology and there is a practice in Louisville n Lexington. Website is animaldermatology.com and the one in Lexington was on Dennis rd and the name was joya griffin. It also looked like Woodford vet has one (they have a great practice). Her name was Kathleen McLeod. Good luck!
