Dr. Mark Brim is a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine with over thirty years of experience in treating disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower extremities, in adults as well as children. Dr. Brim is very experienced in treating foot complications of diabetic patients and specifically foot ulcerations. He is board certified in foot surgery with a special interest in bunion corrections.
Many painful foot problems can be corrected in our office; soft corns, bone spurs, ingrown toe nails, skin lesions. Here we take care of common foot problems seen in geriatrics, such as fungus nails, corns and calluses. Dr. Brim has a successful track record in treating orthopedic problems requiring custom made biomechanical foot orthoses. When indicated, flexible flat feet, arthritic feet, in toeing and out toeing of children are competently treated by functional, biomechanical orthoses.
Some of the conditions treated in Dr. Brim’s office are;
· Injuries to the ankle and foot, pulled tendons, sprains, burns, fractures, dislocations.
· Skin conditions: athlete's foot, allergies, diseases of the nails, planter warts, skin tumors, excessive foot odor.
· Bone and joint problems: heel spurs, hammer toes, bunions, arthritis, arch disorders.
Dr. Brim is a member of the Los Angeles County, California and the American Podiatric Medical Association. He utilizes the most advanced treatments and procedures available today. Dr. Brim exceeds all prescribed government standards of sterilization and infection control.
We are located in the West Valley Medical Center on Balboa Blvd., a block south of the Ventura Freeway. Office hours are between 9 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Dr. Brim accepts most insurance and is a Medicare provider.
