NYC Restaurant Recommendations We have a family member (mid 20s) in town for the weekend and we are taking her out to NYC to do tourist activities. It’s been over a year since I’ve last been in the city, so I have no idea on the restaurant scene. Any dinner recommendations? I’m OK taking the path or driving in. Preferably no Italian recommendations.
EDIT: She’s interested in Asian cuisine, so if there are any places you’d recommend that would be good to take out of towners, I’d greatly appreciate it!

A place to consider, even though it’s in Jersey City: https://rooftopxp.com/whats-happening/ For Cantonese food in Chinatown: https://www.goldenunicornrestaurant.com/
Need bakery recommendations for a birthday cake. Howdy. I'm flying into the city for my boyfriend's birthday next week and need a recommendation for a bakery that makes cakes.
He lives in Staten Island so any place in lower Manhattan or close to St. George in SI would be preferable so I don't have to carry it through the subway and risk damage. Although, I'm open to suggestions else where in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.
Thanks for your help.

Does he like ice cream cake? The Ice Cream Factory in Chinatown allows you to order an ice cream cake with any of their flavors (Need to order at least 24 hours beforehand though). I always get the Lychee, Mango and Red Bean flavored. The best! Check out their flavors here: http://www.chinatownicecreamfactory.com/
Friends in New York, we are taking our two boys (7 and 5 yo) to Chinatown on Sunday and need recomendations where to go and what to do. All suggestions are appreciated, especially regarding child friendly restaurants.
