  Anonymous post no. 11437 I own a Pomeranian X Silky dog and he is an very anxious, territorial, intense dog! He needs a muzzle when we take him to the VET and actually stops himself from breathing due to stress when he is under stress. I am needing to get him groomed desperately & in the past my partner has trimmed him however he is needing more of an intense cut - Face, feet etc. which are a tad to difficult for us to cut perfectly! Just wondering if there are any groomers who frequently need to deal with dogs like this or if anyone has any advice on how to get him calmer when these things need to be done? It's stressful for all involved when he needs to visit the VET/Be groomed! Thank you.

I'm a trainer at https://www.facebook.com/152011035288350 Beacon Dog Training - I'd be happy to help with some counter conditioning and desenstisation training to get him more confortable with handling in general, and with grooming and veterinary work in particular. In the mean time, a groomer that comes to you could be a less stressful option than taking him in to a salon.   Anonymous post no. 11101 Looking for a recommendation please of a fence person or handyman that can dog proof a fence. Our dogs keep getting out and we have tried to use chicken wire, and extra timber planks at the bottom but they keep digging out.

  Can't help with the recommendation, but as a word of caution do not go down the path of an electric fence. They have been shown to cause behavioural issues like anxiety and aggression, especially in households with multiple dogs. Often the dog thinks the other dog is the one causing the painful shock.
