I would in general not recommend Mike Counsil plumbing. Check out the reviews on Yelp for widespread reports of overcharging based on their "job costing" practice. We had a similar experience where they estimated 3 times as much for a trivial exposed pipe repair as we got it done for. We have a lot of experience with and would happily recommend Around the Clock Plumbing, 650-968-1100. Price-wise, I'd say they are mid-pack, but they've always showed up when they said they would and done excellent work - fixture installs, leak repairs, toilets, sewer repair, etc. Mark
