About us
Hello and Welcome to Modern Farm Baby!
Modern Farm Baby started with just a few baby-slings. Everywhere I went while carrying around my bubs people would say, “I love that carrier where did you get it?” To which I would reply “I made it!” “You should sell those.” Since I have added reversible bibs, crocheted crib blankets and accessories, aprons, and providing birth doula services.
My name is Sharin White; I am a wife to an amazing husband, mum to 4 wonderful children, 1 girl and 3 boys. We live on a small farm in Georgia, in a house built by my husband’s great-grandfather in 1904. I attempt to garden and DIY restore our house, while returning to our roots of natural healing, real foods, homebirthing, babywearing, breastfeeding, cloth diapering, homeschooling etc. I am a DONA trained birth doula and LPN. In addition, I am a student midwife (to start my apprenticeship within a few years).
Occasionally I will share some of our ongoing projects as well as articles to assist expecting mothers in researching relevant topics to their pregnancy and birth.
This is my contribution to my family as I try my best to be the Proverbs 31 woman.
