Miranda grew up on a family farm in Gloucestershire, amongst horses, dogs and farm animals. Her passion for animals was instigated at infancy, allowing her to develop a lifelong affinity with them.
From a young age she has enjoyed racing, supporting family in Point to Points and National Hunt racing. Miranda’s family have always had gun dogs, and she loves nothing more than heading home for weekends to cuddle up with the family dogs on the farm.
Miranda competed at all disciplines within the Pony Club, and continued to compete at British Eventing until her studies took over.
She has since spent the past 10 years studying and working as a human physiotherapist, and subsequently qualifying as a Chartered Veterinary Physiotherapist – her childhood goal achieved!
Miranda is currently working part time as a locum physio within the NHS, as well as building up her animal work, whilst completing her MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy.
Miranda Mason Physiotherapy Limited was established in 2014, to provide physiotherapy treatment to people affected with musculoskeletal, neurological and respiratory disorders, and more recently extended to animals. Miranda gained her PG Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy in June 2014, and now practices as a Category A member of ACPAT (Association of Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy).
ACPAT is readily recognised by insurance companies and Veterinary Surgeons as the gold standard in veterinary physiotherapy.
