  I'm looking to book a return taxi from Old Coulsdon to Gatwick Airport next week. Can anyone kindly recommend reasonable local taxi firms please? Hopefully it will be cheaper than parking at the airport. Many thanks.

  District Cars 020 8668 9000. Used them in January to take me to Gatwick h then pick me up again 3 weeks later back to OC. £17.50 each way, they text when cab is outside also with the reg no. Excellent service... !

  District cars are good and reliable. Make sure you agree a fare first though- its normally £18 and I always give the driver £20.

  I always use district cars based in Coulsdon, very reliable. They tx you when your taxi is due and its reg number. Handy on the return trip from Gatwick as so many taxis pull up!!

  District cars have been good at getting us to Gatwick (£17 one way) but not at picking us up. The driver took so long to pick us up last year that we cancelled the taxi and paid double for an airport taxi.
