Does anyone know if one of the Helderberg vets are doing spaying ( of female dog) at a special rate? I'm only getting her spayed to make my own life a little bit easier, so only highly recommend vets. I know there was one advertised a while ago but can't remember. Not welfare they have enough on their plate. Tia.
I usually go to somerstrand vet but they are busy moving, any other really awesome vets that I can try?

Dear Clients. Somerstrand Veterinary Clinic has not closed, We have relocated from our previous premises in Little Greece, George street in the Strand to a new, larger premises in Somerset West. We have not moved far from Strand. We are the same building as Radio Helderberg's previous premises. We are easy to find: we are next to Cara-Camp, the caravan dealers. The physical address is cnr of the N2 (Grabouw direction) and Hazelden Drive - the road going to Heritage Park. Our gated entrance is less than 100 m from the traffic lights on the N2. Our telephone line is currently down. Please contact 0764165399 to get hold of us if you need directions.
Hi all, I need to take my cat for a check up and his annual injections. Between Somerset West, Strand and Gordon's Bay, who is the best Vet, please? Thanks!

Give us a call. 0218538963. My wife Ingrid is a cat person with a touch that always puts her patients at ease. We focus a lot on feline medicine - we have a cat waiting area when needed, a separate area for cats when in hospital. And we do lots of feline sterilisations at a great price. Have a look at our FB www.facebook.com/somerstrandvets
I wud just like publicly thank and recommend dr ingrid lester from Somerstrand veterinary clinic. Ingrid is our number 1 recommended bunny vet in the helderberg area. She has treated all my bunnies with so much care. She is always willing to explain all procedures and answer all million of my questions. She goes above and beyond to help and advise. Somerstrand vet clinic truly offers a personal service and lives up to their promise of putting the heart into veterinary care. When you leave your animals in their care (ingrid craig and reinette) you know uve got the best team on your side. If she treats bunnies (exotic animals) this well, i am sure treating dogs and cats are a breeze. Wud definitely recommend this practice for all pets including exotics. Below our newest member of the family- donnitello. Had him neutered today. Ingrid also filed down his teeth, cut his nails and removed a growth from above his eye). His recovery is going great and without complications :) keep up the fantastic work! Xxx Nicci - cape town bunny huggers group.
