Swollen face. Puffy gums painful to the touch. Toothache. But my dentists appointments have been cancelled Insurance recently approved and I set 2 appointments so my teeth could be looked at. With all the COVID, I’ve been trying to hold out till my newly scheduled appointments, but I woke up today in a bad state. My face is swollen, gums are puffy and painful got her touch and a toothache.
I need dental care today or tomorrow ASAP. I have MetLife Dental.
I called Red Hills Dentistry and the earliest time I could get in is Thursday. I know I’ll need sooner. I’ve been struggling with this tooth issue for some time and now that I finally have insurance, I can’t go anywhere -_-
Anyone know any dentists taking emergencies today or tomorrow? Or an alternative to hold out until then?
PSA : Please don’t judge my course of action either. If you don’t have anything constructive to say, please don’t say anything.

Hi, my daughter has also a dental emergency, and after calling 5 different dentists in Tallahassee and not getting an appointment for the same day or the day after; we decided that we will drive 7 hours to Miami, where i found several dentists willing to see us the same day for an emergency; we decided to go to Dr luis Fornaris 305.230.4040, you can also try Dr Eisner is open for emergencies 305.279.8600. I decided it is better for me to drive 7 hours and be able to see a dentist or doctor the same day. Some things can not wait, and dental emergencies is one of them. Cost about $40 in gasoline each way, but i think is worth it. Good luck, Susan
