  Update on our home renovations!! For those of you who were / are looking for a contractor to take care of your renovation needs, we are a bit over the 'half way' mark in renovating our old home and all is going very well! From scoping out what needed to be renovated to color, pattern and material design & selection, implementation and installation, Robbins Restoration has been wonderful! Each of the individuals involved have contributed in their own special way to making this happen and we couldn't be more pleased. I'll update with pictures soon but so far, they've installed tile on some of the floor area, tiled the bathrooms and kitchen backsplash, stoned & tiled the fireplace (LOOOVE this, I want this for our new house), installed the glass shower doors, a new 'raindrop' glass window that I had requested, fixed the 'seals' in many windows, installed granite in the kitchen and master bath, painted inside and outside of the house and trimmed our overgrown trees. Installation of the new carpet, hardwood floors, appliances and landscaping will follow in the next 2 weeks. We have an estimated targeted completion date of May 22nd.

  Janiece Willis, Bret, the Project Manager was out of town last week doing the Iron Man triathalon in Colorado so I posted the owner's contact info. Bret is back now and he fields the calls, will come out to walk the property, hear your concerns and goals and give you feedback and suggestions. I love how Bret and Marty, the owner, work together as each has different strengths to contribute to the project. Sometimes it's Bret that has a great idea for an area and other times, it's Marty but they both work very well with each other. Here is the number to call: Bret Riggin 972-655-9814. When I say they've done and COMPLETE overhaul, I mean EVERTYHING. My husband bought the house 17 years ago, I moved in 16 years ago and the ONLY thing we did was to tile the bathrooms and paint the boy's bedrooms. So they took on a very large job! :-)

I need recommendations for an inexpensive granite supplier/installer, someone who sells and installs frameless shower doors, someone to change out faucets, and someone to replace the acrylic shower pan.
