  Anyone know a lawyer who can help Me? I recently moved out of my apartment before my lease was up due to the conditions. I was told it is called constructive eviction . The water was leaking through 2 walls for almost 5 months and it was causing mold and ant infestations. They neglected to fix anything only placed a dehumidifier in my apartment. It became unbearable so I left. Now they are trying to charge me for the rest of my lease and other charges totaling more than $3,000, saying I broke my lease. When in actuality, they broke it by not keeping my living space livable. I need legal advice please.
