It all started with a nightmare of working in a cubicle for the rest of our lives....a husband and wife who are avid motorcyclists, a local riding group, a strong motorcycling community, and a desire to bring people with a common hobby together in a space that is made just for them.
A space where they can work on their bikes, hang out, tell stories, become friends, bust a knuckle together, and always learn something new.
We opened the doors in 2011, in a hard to find warehouse in South San Francisco. We didn't know if anyone would actually pay to work on their own bikes, or if anyone would want to learn how to get their hands dirty, but we had a hunch - so we gave them everything they needed and a comfortable place to work...and the rest evolved from there.
As business grew, we relocated to Potrero Hill in San Francisco, where we continued to provide space and tools for local riders to work on their own bikes, attend workshops, and enjoy this space made just for them.
In 2016 we relocated again, this time to Treasure Island, in the middle of SF Bay - easily accessible from both SF and the East Bay. We have an enormous space with 12 lifts and everything you need to work on your bike, including a fabrication shop, lounge, and used consignment gear for sale.
Does anyone know if there are places that teach basic motorcycle maintenance? I'd love to learn so I don't have to shell out $$$ for every little thing that I want changed/fixed/upgraded on my bebe. Thanks!
