About us
Jake and Lindsey are our current piercers. Jake Gentle-Hands has been piercing since 2009 and is a Business member of the APP. Jake has also attended the Fakir Intensives in San Francisco. Lindsey is currently offering the majority of piercings and working through the tail end of her apprenticeship and is improving her technique every chance she gets. She has been working in studios as a receptionist/counter person since 2011.
Everyday we try our hardest to give not only the best experience we can offer, but also we pride ourselves on education and our execution of aseptic technique. We make sure the shop is run under the guidelines of the Association of Professional Piercers (verify at safepiercing.org) and always make sure that Aperture only carries the highest quality jewelry for the safety of our clients. All our staff also attends the annual APP Conference every year to stay on top of all the latest techniques.
We follow strict state and federal laws in regards to piercing. Everyone we pierce is required to have a form of identification with a name, picture and birthdate. Samples of this would be a state issued ID, drivers license, passport or military ID. Minors are required to have a valid ID as well, such as a student ID or yearbook as long as their name and picture are together. A parent or legal guardian is required to be present to sign paperwork for the minor. If that parent and child's last names do not match we require an original birth certificate to prove parental rights. If a legal guardian is signing we would require court paperwork. We do not pierce infants, only kids 5 years old and up.
Walk-ins are welcome on a first come, first serve basis. Appointments will be honored as a 15 minute time slot. If a client has not arrived in that time period, their appointment has been forfeited and they will be accommodated as a walk-in or they may set up an appointment for a later time.
So let's try this again :) looking for best/cheapest licensed and professional place to get my eyebrow pierced. (If you have no suggestions of places to go to please don't comment)

I've heard Aperture on Bay Street is really good. Not sure about cost though. http://www.aperturepiercing.com/
Is there any place local in town that does ear piercing for kids? I would rather keep it local and not go to Silverdale. I hate asking, but when I Googled it, all I got were tattoo and piercing businesses.

I've gone to Aperture, and they seem very nice and very clean. Almost hospital clean. https://www.facebook.com/AperturePiercing
