  Hey everyone good morning. Looking for an honest mechanic up here that doesn't overcharge, need a head gasket job done on my vehicle, was quoted $950 plus 400 on the parts plus whatever the Machine Shop charges for the head from a local mechanic, however once I looked at prices for the gaskets I could find them for $100 including everything online versus the 400 I was quoted so that's a pretty big pack in my opinion. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

  There's a place in Placerville that are really fair priced. On the left past the police department - Main Street auto, they will quote over the phone. 530-626-7066.
