  Dress shopping advice wanted! My wedding is in Autumn next year. I've been to four different bridal boutiques so far (Bella Notte, Affordable Bridal, Angelic Inspirations, and Enchanté) and while they all had lovely dresses and good (and in some cases outstanding) service, none were quite right. I'm trying to find a tea length dress with sleeves (strapless dresses are not my friend), but it's proving difficult to find one. I have considered getting a ball gown altered, but I'm yet to find one with sleeves that I like (or sleeves at all. Illusion mesh/lace tops seem popular but I haven't found many with cap sleeves let alone 3/4 sleeves). I suppose my question is: has anyone successfully found one in Canberra, or have you had a fantastic experience with making a dress from scratch with a local seamstress/dressmaker? Thank you!
