I am a certified eyelash technician, as well as a college graduated makeup artist. I studied and trained in Halifax, Nova Scotia at Eastern College, where I graduated with honors. My studies included Bacteriology, which involves the proper sanitation procedures to prevent the spreading of any bacteria from one client to another.

-What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are a creative way to enhance the length and thickness of your own natural eyelashes. Lash extensions are strands of synthetic hair, made to replicate the curve and look of the natural lash. They are applied one by one, to each eyelash for a beautiful natural look.
-How long does it take to apply?
A full set of eyelash extensions can take anywhere from 90 to 120 minuets to apply depending on your natural eyelashes.
-How are they applied?
While getting some beauty rest, your lashes will be cleansed and primed. Then to protect your bottom lashes, under eye pads will be added. The lash extensions are applied at a 1:1 ratio (1 extension to 1 natural lash). You will feel totally relaxed throughout this non-invasive procedure, many clients actually fall asleep!
-How long do eyelash extensions last?
Eyelash extensions can last anywhere from 3-4 weeks with proper care, but they are no longer full at that time which will require you to get a fill. A fill is recommend every 2-3 weeks. depending on your skin type. Clients with oily skin may need to come more often, where as the natural oil of your skin can break down the adhesive.
