    So in NJ I tried something different. I ordered a pair of spats from https://www.facebook.com/250667518302678 Sleefs.com they are $10 for the pair. They are made for cleats but I figured I would try them. They fit over my Salomon shoes pretty well and worked great for about 12 miles. From all the rocks and running they started getting a hole in them. I just ripped them off after the finish line. I think they would hold up quite well in a sprint or super just not a beast and they are cheap
