For over 70 years there has been a dental practice at Fareham’s 28 East Street, with this latest incarnation as Serenity Dental formed in 2008 when Brett Garner (who has worked here since 2002) purchased the practice from his mentor, Steven Reeves.
Preventative Dentistry
We have placed preventative dentistry, rather than reactionary dentistry, as the main focus for Serenity Dental and this will enable us to become one of the premier practices in the south of England.
We are a team of 13, made up of 2 dentists (Brett and Fiona), 1 dental therapist (Marie), 2 dental hygienists (Lyndsay and Julia), 5 nurses (Debbie, Kelley, Natalie, Karla and Chrissie (Trainee)) with Karen and Chris on the front desk. Keeping us all in order is Nikki, our practice manager.
All of us have worked in dentistry most of our careers and have a wealth of experience that we would love to share with you.
Who we Treat
We are a private dental practice with the aim of meeting all of your dental needs. From looking after your first teeth, or your older worn teeth which the stresses of modern life and past dentistry have taken their toll on.
We have extensive experience in treating gum problems, or providing dentures and implants when dentistry has failed. If you are an NHS patient who wants to sort out a problem that is not being treated the way you want it to be, then you are more than welcome.
With patients coming from around Fareham, as well as travelling from all over the south of England, we are very flexible in the provision of treatment – our only requirement is that we provide the dentistry you want, after you have been given all your options.
Why choose Serenity?
Changing the way dentistry is practised is our goal at Serenity Dental – making it relaxed and informative, along with giving your teeth longevity and health.
One main aim is to remove any preconceived ideas about a trip to the dentist – why can’t you listen to your favourite music and have a cup of tea half way... show more
through?
Another reason is that we are trained to recognise potential risks in your mouth, so as to minimise future problems before they happen. This reduces the amount of treatment you will need, giving you reassurance and value for money.
By aiming for a healthy mouth and a lovely smile we can also reduce your risk of medical problems such as heart disease, diabetes and stroke. There is more to the mouth than you realise! show more
We would highly recommend Serenity Dental in Fareham - we first went there on a recommendation following a bad NHS experience locally. http://www.serenitydental.co.uk
