Anonymous asks: Has anyone in this group had a VBAC or found a doctor that supports one?
I just had my first child via c-section. I was induced, had pitocin immediately, my water broken less than 2 hours later. The contractions came on strong and fast and I immediately requested the IV pain meds (fentanyl). Once getting that I swear I "blacked out" for a majority of the day. I pushed for 1.5 hours but only remember the last 3 attempts. My child's head was showing, but was told I was not making progress because my pubic bone was not allowing my child's head or shoulders to fit through.
I just want to be able to have the experience of delivering vaginally, can you tell me where to go, at minimum, for a 2nd opinion? Preferably a Methodist doctor. Thanks
