Serving Southwest Washington and the and the greater Portland Metro area, Blairco Heating & Cooling is a family owned company with complete dedication to our customers needs. Thousands of residences and businesses count on us for efficient, professionally installed cooling and heating systems, as well as for the ongoing care of their existing systems. We are a Carrier dealer. Our team of installers and service technicians are capable of completing your installation or service needs with the quality and affordability you should expect. Blairco started in 1987 in our backyard tool shed as a one man company owned and operated by Joe Blair. Joe graduated from West Coast training in 1982, and after six years as a service technician for Tom Moyer Theaters, he ventured out on his own. After two years in the tool shed, we hired our first service employee and we took off from there.
Our first office was opened in 1991 in downtown Vancouver. Now located in the heights, on MacArthur Blvd. we employ over 35 service/install and office personnel. We currently have over 25 service vehicles in our fleet
Blairco is a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer and NW Natural Service Solutions Certified Dealer. We have handled this line of equipment for the past 20years. You can always "Turn to the Experts" because we are committed to serving all of your heating and cooling needs.

Tech Tips: There are a few things you can check to see if you can get your system up and running before we send one of our qualified service technicians to your home or business. Check your electrical breaker box to see if... show more the circuit for the heat pump and/or furnace has tripped off. If so-reset it to see if your heat starts. If the breaker has not tripped, then reset it. Push the switch off, wait about 10-15 seconds, and then switch it back on. Wait about 10-15 minutes to see if your heat starts. Check your thermostat. During the winter months your thermostat should be set to AUTO or HEAT. Check your air filter. You should be able to hold your filter up to a light source and see light through it. If you cannot or it just seems very dirty, it is time to change it. Call Blairco to see if we have your filter size in stock. We offer competitive pricing and a wide variety of sizes in stock. If we do not have your size, we can get it in one or two days. If the steps listed above do not help you, give us a call.
