About us
Dogmatix is run by me, Jan Hare,is based in Olney and covers all surrounding villages.
I have undergone training with the College of Applied Pet Ethology and am currently working towards an accreditation with the Canine Behaviour and Training Society (formerly the United Kingdom Registry of Canine Behaviourists).
I do 1-2-1 behaviour consultations, working with dogs that suffer from reactivity, fearfulness, separation anxiety, resource guarding and also puppy/adolescent/adult dog training.
I use only positive, reward based, training methods to help you to achieve fantastic results with your dog. Learning is all fun based and the dogs learn through play – they love it!
You will learn a variety of games to inspire your dog and train concepts such as calmness, confidence, optimism, focus, impulse control and the desire to stay close.
Working on these concepts will help your dog to develop great loose lead walking, an amazing recall and, most importantly, a fantastic relationship with you!

I'm looking for someone with a large/medium puppy or dog to play with mine. We have a Springer Spaniel at home but all he's interested in is chasing his ball! (Which Spaniel don't?!) and she then chases him dragging along by his tail!Janet H. replied:Walnut Tree may be the closest for you or alternatively Patchwork Training has a field at Lavendon that they hire out for £5/hr. I do know that Marianne Tembey of Patchwork Dog Training currently has puppy classes running in Wollaston and she has spaces. She's very good!
