  The owner of the property I live in is in search of a handy man. My units A.C. went out and the property insurance is willing to fix it BUT the vent pipe has asbestos and they will not fix the A.C until he removes the pipe with asbestos. It's getting really hot out and I have a toddler at home. Any recommendations??

  We used a company called P.W. Stephens Inc. (714)892-2028, (800) 750-7733, Andy McGee (714) 397-3880 for asbestos abatement. It was a while back so not sure how current the numbers are.
