  In D.C. is Char Bar,; lots of places in the D.C. suburbs of which I highly recommend Al Ha'esh in Rockville, and in Baltimore are my top two favorites, David Chus and Serengeti. None of them are smokehouses but they are all excellent. And C William Silverberg is right that Seasons Maryland on Reisterstown Road has some smoked items, which are in the prepared food section (ask for Tzvi Landau) and are delicious.

  In Baltimore, there is a steak restaurant called serengeti. It’s the nicest kosher restaurant in Baltimore.
